Paris Engagement Session

The city of love, the perfect backdrop for Stéph and Paul’s Paris engagement session. As we wandered through the streets, taking in the sights and sounds of the city, it was clear that these two were head over heels for each other.

The way Paul looked at Stéph was truly something special. His eyes lit up with adoration every time he caught a glimpse of her. The way he held her close spoke volumes about the depth of his feelings for her. When people see images of Stéph and Paul, I hear the same thing over and over again. “The way he looks at her…” I think it’s pretty obvious how he feels about her.

We started our session at the Eiffel Tower, where the couple shared a sweet kiss under the iconic structure. The way the tower sparkled in the background only added to the romance of the moment.

From there, we walked along the Seine River, enjoying other parts of Paris. Our session was early in the morning to capture that gorgeous morning light. The city was already awake with life and activity. People were on their way to work and fun, breakfast, and leisurely walks. Yet, Stéph and Paul couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other. It was clear that they were completely in their own world, despite the tourists all around us.

The two of them told me about how they met, fell in love, and why they connected despite the odds that they wouldn’t. Stéph’s face lit up as she shared how long distance didn’t work against them. Instead it helped them both realize that they wanted to spend more time together. Eventually leading them to rearrange their lives to be closer to each other.

Finally, we ended our Paris engagement session at the Pont de Bir-Hakeim, or more commonly known as the Inception Bridge. Made famous as one of their filming locations in Paris for the movie Inception. At this point, Stéph and Paul were giggling and simply enjoying their time. They shared about the history of the city they loved as well as telling me about the upcoming Olympics and all that the city was doing to prepare. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. The images we captured will be cherished memories for years to come.

It’s no surprise that when people see images of Stéph and Paul, they can’t help but comment on the way he looks at her. It’s a beautiful thing to witness, and I’m grateful to have had gotten to know them.
