Intimate Mansion Wedding

K and T have been together for thirteen years. They met in middle school, started dating in high school, and grew up alongside each other, so their wedding at the Hay-McKinney Mansion at the Western Reserve Historical Society felt less like a beginning and more like a long, well-earned celebration. With just 65 guests, every person in the room had a real place in their story.

The day was built around time with their people. K moved her portraits to a separate session earlier in the month, which meant the wedding day itself was free for what she cared about most: being present, catching up, and soaking in every conversation. An outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour gave way to dancing inside, with a palette of blue, chocolate brown, aubergine, and silver tying the whole evening together. There was no formal wedding party, just close friends and family standing right where they wanted to be.

More than anything, the wedding was a reunion. Many of the people in that room are the ones who have supported K through the biggest chapters of her life, and having them all together again was the heart of the day. There was a family performance during the reception, an outfit change entrance down the mansion stairs, and a lot of laughter. Candid, warm, and full of the people who matter most.
