Being that it’s Valentine’s day weekend, I felt like it was only appropriate to blog an engagement session. But not just any engagement session. Oh my goodness. I am in LOVE with this session.
Now, we all know I’m rather silly about these sorts of things. A good friend of mine reminded me the other day (after a photography blog I posted) that I am entirely, genuinely, sappy. I mean, if you’ve followed along with me at all, you would have caught that much. I love engagements, I love weddings, I love, well… love stories. This engagement was no exception to that rule. However, the added bonus here is that the location was just so much fun! While I’m still new to south Florida and exploring the surrounding areas, I’m falling more in love all the time with the amazing venues and sights to be seen in this beautiful area. But I haven’t had much time to explore central Florida.
This couple wanted to have their engagement session at the very same place he proposed. These guys also plan on having their wedding in this beautiful central Florida location, The Bok Tower Gardens. This place, oh my goodness! It’s one of those locations that I could explore for days and days. It was actually quite upsetting that the sun decided to set on us, because as much as I love beautiful light, I would have loved a whole lot more time.
My absolute favorite part of the gardens, we found right at the end. We rounded a corner walking up to Pinewood Estate. The estate itself is gorgeous, but when you walk through the gardens leading up to the Pinewood, you would think you had been transported to the wonder of an Alice in Wonderland adventure. I absolutely must go back to shoot there simply to play in the garden. It was simply like a fairy tale. What a perfect place for a wedding!
As I do when I am slightly obsessed with beautiful images, I have blogged far too many images here for you. But I know we had so much fun creating them and I hope you have just as much fun seeing them.
