What a fun and beautiful outdoor wedding this was! I mean, who wouldn’t get married outdoors when you live in the incredible south Florida weather all the time? Still, I just absolutely adored this wonderful couple. They were relaxed, happy and over the moon excited about spending the rest of their lives together. My kind of couple.
They exchanged their vows at Ranch Believe, a gorgeous equestrian venue in the Miami area. Ranch Believe is kind of in the middle of no where. I mean, it’s one of those venues that you’re in the city driving along and all of a sudden you’re driving in the country and you’re not quite sure when your surroundings changed. Then you turn on this random dirt road and it opens up into the beautiful Ranch Believe. It’s just one of those places, wide open spaces, ridiculously country looking, white fences everywhere and of course, horses at every turn.
Now, those of you who actually know me will know that horses aren’t actually my favorite animal. Before you judge me, you should know that it’s not my fault. Horses don’t like me, they never have. I’m not really sure what the issue is between them and I, but I’ve generally kept my distance. To respect the horses wishes, of course. I had the pleasure of shooting this event with a good friend of mine of Mau Loa Photography and besides the lovely bride and groom, beautiful venue and amazing hand crafted gorgeous details (I’ll get to that momentarily), she absolutely made the day. This blog would not be complete without including one of my favorite moments which I recorded on my Instagram and is now my cell phone picture for her. Believe it or not, in the moment of trying to get all the details recorded and running through a wedding day, we had no idea that we’d just pulled up next to our friend here. I’m pretty sure he would have gotten in the car if we’d have let him.
Aside from our horse bound adventure (like that??), this wedding stood apart for its many hand made touches. This was a nighttime event with incredible attention to detail. I cannot express how beautiful their event was or how lovely it looked all candle lit that evening. Even the groom was proudly explaining all the preparation and work that went into making every little detail beautiful. The whole thing sparkled, there is no other way to put it. What a delight to watch them dance the night away with their family and friends enjoying their new lives together.
Special shout out to all the amazing vendors who make an event great!
