Stop it. I don’t know why, it just seems to be the only words that come to mind when I think of this little blessing. Stop it, stop being that cute. It’s just really not fair to all the other babies in the world. 😉 Ah this little boy! There are just no words for how adorable I think he is. Of course, it does help that I loved him from the womb. He knows my voice well from talking to his mama’s tummy. I really wanted him to like me right from the get go. It worked by the way!! 😉 So yes, I did plan on loving this little one either way, but seriously, stop it.
Absolutely adored the opportunity to do a newborn session for this dear family. I was able to do their maternity portraits, which were just so much fun. This was also during the period where I was talking to the tummy so it’s possible that I may have had more fun than they did! 😉 I naturally was extremely excited to capture the little man himself upon arrival.
These images were created right in their home. I almost always advise couples who are booking newborn sessions to use their home as our location. One of the reasons for this is having a baby is a rather HUGE deal. The calmer and more relaxed everyone is, the better the images come out. Going anywhere with a brand new baby isn’t usually very relaxing! I often get asked when is the best time for newborn photography session. Anytime is a good time to capture where your little one is at in their little journey, but if you’re looking for that real ‘just arrived’ sleepy baby look, it’s best to have a session within the first 2 weeks. Newborn sessions are very, very relaxed. The baby will cry and fuss and make diapers and that’s ok. We just hang out and wait for those perfect moments. No stress for mama, and no stress for baby. 🙂
I’m pretty excited to share this little man as he grows up a bit. I see a cake smashing session in our future. Just saying.
