So. There is this boy. I’m not really sure how to explain how cute he is. It’s like all the cuteness of all the kids sort of left a little off for this fellow and he just got extra. Plus he’s Mr. Personality so that adds to the whole package of cuteness and his mom put him in a bow tie.
I. Just. Can’t.
Now please don’t judge me. I am aware that I talk about being “new” to the South Florida area on a regular basis and you’d think perhaps I’d be adjusting slightly better or more quickly than I am. However, this is the kind of situation I’m in. I recently purchased a software that is going to help me in managing a lot of behind the scenes things that must be done in my photography studio. Do you know what I’m most excited about? That with this new app, once I record where my portrait session will be, it will watch the weather and alert me!! It’s like I just made a new friend. This is incredible news to a southern Californian girl who STILL, STILL forgets that it sometimes rains… well… everyday here in South Florida! And, I never check the weather report until it’s raining outside on my way to an outdoor natural light portrait session. Yay me.
This was one of those days… only I DID check the weather and it said it was fine, but “it” lies about whether it’s going to rain or not all the time so why even bother with my new program?? Sigh. We got there, we walked to our location and it opened up. Like, friends in California actually have no idea what I’m referring to because they’ve never seen the sky do what I’m telling you it did that day.
So Mr. P, Mr. P’s mama, and I went running for shelter. And I do mean, running for the shelter. This was alright because his mom was my son’s preschool teacher and an all around awesome person. I figured, yay it’s basically a coffee date! Except there was no coffee and we were under a big metal structure in a storm, but we had a lovely time nonetheless. 😉
It did eventually stop raining and we were able to go play and I’m kinda happy with the results. What can I say, the child LOVES water. It ended up being a longer, wetter and much more fun session than we’d planned.
